Now when I mark some text for reading on a page, the
marked part goes away, wherever on the screen I click
now? What's wrong here?

I'm for instance reading some messageboard, marking some
particular part of it and as soon as I click the toolbar
arrows up or down for instance, the marking goes away.
This didn't happen before, it even happens wherever on
the page I'm clicking, on some posting further up, for
instance and away the marked part goes?

What can I do about this?

By marking, I assume you mean what is called highlighting. Before starting
this, open a word processor such as Wordpad (or one more sophisticated if
installed). Then highlight desired text, right click on it, and select Copy
in the pop-up menu. Then go to Wordpad, or whatever you have open, and
paste it in there. It's now saved and any mouse clicks won't lose it.

Hello Malvern!

Already fixed this problem by going to Add/Remove
programs, when I removed the recently installed new
comulative patch and voila, I can mark text again and the
marked part stays highlighted even if I click the
scrollbar. So, it was due to this new IE comulative all
the time:

So, I'm just waiting for the next Explorer patch now.
