Mark Up Validation

I have just produced a new site but using the W3c Validator I am still
returning errors. Should this be a worry? I have to clean the code up with
Alt Attributes and some non closed tags. When I use Dreamweaver the code
seems to be much cleaner!. Does FP2003 not produce clean code/unfinished
code?

FP produces some nice code, as does Dreamweaver. A lot of the errors can
come simply from creating cross-browser pages. A lot of the tweaks that you
would use to get a site to look good cross-browser simply don't work. Some
of the validation errors are also from the meta tags that FP puts in to
denote which version of the product it was created in and the various bots.
You can pretty much ignore most of them. Check for serious errors though and
deal with any that seem appropriate.

Hope this helps,
