Does anyone around here have experience with printing certificates, or
documents with a page border in Microsoft Word 2007 or Corel Draw ? I have
problems when printing such documents.

The printout doesn't have the margins exactly the way I designed the
document. The problem is there only when printing with a deskjet printer.
LaserJet printers print the documents correctly, but I need to have a color
printout.

Some of my colleagues are asking me about this problem over and over again.
None of the IT staff in my office has an answer. Would you share with me
your solution to this problem?

One thing that might help using Word is:

1. Click on
File > print

2. Change to the printer you want.

3. If you want to activate printer-specific features, click "Properties."

4. A "Close" button will appear -- click it (not "OK" and not "Cancel")

5. Use "Print Preview" and "Page setup" to fine-tune the margins.

Background: I've noticed that Word 2003 (or earlier) sometimes changes the
document layout in subtle ways to accommodate the particular printer
chosen. In some cases, I've even seen page breaks change, requiring the
user to cause the TOC, the index, and page reference fields to be
recalculated.

(I don't use Corel Draw.)

It *might* help (not guaranteed) if you save the document as a pdf.
