Maps will not Display on http://gisdata.usgs.net/website/map_studio/viewer.asp

This is a U.S. Govt. site and the maps do not display
for at least a week. An alternate site has the same
problem.
Any ideas?

The site in question works fine here, so it's not a server-side issue it
would appear. Since the site uses tons of JavaScript to display and
manipulate the maps, a possible solution to your problem would be to
reinstall your scripting engines from here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/list/webdev.asp

Thanks very much. I have reinstalled the scripting engines and
the maps have appeared properly! This is not the first time this
has happened with JavaScript-intensive material.

You're most welcome, Frank. Windows' scripting engines have been sorta
fragile for a long time now - your experience is not a rare one over the
past several years. Reinstallation of them has been a frequent fix for most
things scripting-related.
