MapPoint - No printers are installed (but they are)

The MapPoint NG doesn't seem to have an answer. Do you folks have any ideas?

Prior to installing Vista SP2 I could print from inside MapPoint 2009
without any problems. Since installing Vista SP2 on my Vista Premium x64
box, Mappoint 2009 has been giving me the following error when I try to
print: "No printers are installed. Would you like to add one now?"

All other applications that I've tried print without error. I've
uninstalled and reinstalled Mappoint. I've uninstalled and reinstalled
printers. I do have printers installed and do have a default printer. When
I hover over the print button in Mappoint, it shows the correct default
printer. But if I select the Print button or use File > Print, I always get
the above error. If I select OK to the error dialog, it opens the Printers
dialog and all the correct printers are listed. From there I can open any of
the printers and successfully print a test page.

I uninstalled Vista SP2 and it made no difference. I still cannot print.
HELP!!

Help! Any suggestions?

You are living proof that uninstalling and reinstalling is seldom the
answer. Visit your printer manufacturer's web site and download and install
an updated driver.

Good suggestion. Unfortunately I already tried that without any success.
