Mapping Transitions Error when converting PP 2003 to PDF w/ Acroba

I am trying to convert a PP 2003 Presentation to PDF format using Acrobat 6.
The process hangs and gives a message that reads "mapping transitions". It
stops there. Can anyone help me with the cause and possible solution?

Do you need the PDF to have transitions and such or can it be an "electronic
paper" version of the presentation ( no links, etc )?

If the latter, try printing to the Adobe PDF driver as you'd print to any other
printer. That'll make a plain PDF of your presentation.
