I have been unsuccessful in mapping a network drive from
an MS-DOS (6.22) boot disk to a shared folder on an XP
Pro unit. The XP machine is a member of a domain and the
shares have been setup properly. I can access the shares
from Windows clients with no problems.
I am using the NET USE command and have tried variations
with the command. This same boot process will connect to
a Windows 2000 Member Server (same domain) with no
problems whatsoever. I am thinking that it has to be
related to a local security policy on XP Pro.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
