Hi,

I have set up the server and switched everybody's computer
to the server domain. I created accounts and everybody is
able to log on to he domain account which is blank and
doesn't have their files.

However, I want them to be able to see the old settings
with all files they have as if they had logged on to the
workgroup.

I tryed to do that with DFS by making files be available
offline. But then you have to do that to all of your
files.

Is there any ather way to access files on my computer and
what is it?
May be some kind of mapping of all files to domain
dirrectory when user logges on to the domain?

I appressiate, Thanks

Peter

Assuming that the files you are talking about are the files in the user's My
Documents folder:

On the workstation, open Windows Explorer and expand the Documents and
Settings folder. Expand the folder called <username>, and copy the folder
called My Documents. Right click on the folder called
<username.domainname>. Select Paste.
