I have installed Microsoft Antispyware Beta on our school networks. The My
Documents folder is mapped to a shared folder on a W2K server for the logged
on user either Pupil or Teacher.
Every time a pupil logs on, the MS Antispyware software asks the user for
permission to change the My Documents mapping, however this is a repetitive
question and the software refuses to remeber the answer. This means that if a
pupil accepts the deny option, their shared documents folder is no longer
available to them through the My Documents shortcut in the Start Menu.
Is there a way to force the MS Antispyware software to retain the answer to
this question after a log off / log on.
This effects approx 210 PC's with approx 1,000 users across 5 sites.
