MAPI vs Default folders

I use Win XP with Outlook 2007. I have a default folder set, calendar, notes,
tasks etc. If I add a pop 3 account the mail goes by default into the inbox
and sent items of these. However if I start again and add an IMAP account is
always creates a new PST group of files underneath. I want only one set with
everything in one place and will add later another PST if i want pop3 but for
now how do I get MAPI to use the default folders?

IMAP accounts will always have their own folder sets separate from your
default folders because IMAP folders can never be the delivery location in a
mail profile.
