Hi All,

We are currently developing an in-house CRM system, and we
would like Outlook to be able to resolve names against
this system. Is it possible to develop a MAPI provider
using the .Net framework for this purpose?

Thanks,

Gil

Is there any .Net documentation available regarding
creating MAPI providers?

Thanks,

Gil

Hello Gil,

Thanks for your reply.

Based on my experience, there is no .net framework class library to support
it directly. We may need to InterOp Win32 SDK to achieve it. For detailed
information on InterOp, please refer to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpconinteroperatingwith
unmanagedcode.asp?frame=true.

For MAPI provider developing, please visit
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/mapi/html/_mapi1book_service_provide
r_basics.asp?frame=true.

Hope that helps.
