Mapi Error 0x80070057 indicates an "invalid parameter". In short, there is
something in your Access file that Outlook doesn't like which is about as
much detailed info you're going to get.
Unfortunately, you provided absolutely no other info like:
#1 - Version of Outlook / version of Access .mdb file format
#2 - Did this error occur immediately or were some contacts imported
etc
Quick way to find out if (and exclude it as a possibility) your issue is
strictly "data related" is to export the table you are trying to import into
another format (i.e. CSV) and try importing that. If it works, chances are
that you have a problem with the Access .mdb file itself (along with any
number of other possibilities). If i doesn't - there is something in your
data causing the problem which very likely would be related to some garbage
characters in one or more fields (something we've seen on occasion when the
..mdb file was created by another program (as opposed to data being manually
entered).
