Ever since I applied the latest service packs to IE6, I
get many Run Time Errors / Do you wish to Debug? errors
when visting some web sites. I do not get this with all
web sites and it is undoubtebly only a problem when that
web site uses a particular HTML/JAVA control. Is anyone
else having this problem. I have reproduced this on a
number of boxes including a freshly installed SB 2000
Server with latest service packs.

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

Yes disabling the script checking and script error box in
Internet settings keeps that annoying box from coming up
but it seems the real problem is that of the latest
service packs for IE 6. Just disabling the messages isn't
really fixing the problem. Web sites that used to work
now do not. I am talking about standard product type web
sites such as IMAIL, etc.....

Frank, I really appreciate your help, but I am seeing
posts on this same error all over. Hopefully MS will come
up with a real solution soon.

Hey! At least I got rid of that annoying box eh....

Thanks

The only other thing I can think of is to update the scripting engine:
