Many popups are coming each time, for every site visit I am 3X4 popup
window says "click here", how can I get rid of?. I installed Ad-Aware,
CWShredder, Spybot, Windows washer, but still I am getting. Suggest me.
These are bothering a lot.
 
Try a firewall. I find Zone Alarm Pro to be good, and the profession
version of adaware comes with a constant scanning tool. Also, I heard that
the pop-up blocker from google might be good... but I haven't examined it so
I don't know personally.

Adaware freeware is good for temporary fixes of basic spyware. I find it is
only temporary unless more preventive measures are taken to prevent adware
programs from being able to access the internet.

One thing you can try. There is a messenger service within Windows XP. It
is not Windows Messenger, it is used within Networks by the Network
Administrator but can also be used to send popups to computers over the
internet. To cure it, open Control Panel and then Administrative Tools.
Then select Services. Scroll down until you see Messenger. Right click
on it and, in the menu that opens select Stop. When it has stopped, right
click again and select Properties. Halfway down the box that opens you will
see Startup Type. Change this to Disabled and then click OK.
