Is there a way to manually start your screen saver? My old Win98 Office
Toolbar had a button to start the Screen Saver right away. I cannot find any
similar feature in XP.

Create a shortcut on the desktop pointing to the *.scr

Thanks for that. The only problem with this method is that the password on
restart feature is not activated. A major part of the reason for wanting the
short cut is to protect my machine while it is on without waiting for the
screen saver time passage to kick in.

Just have to ask the right question. :) Windows key + L

or

Put this line in the shortcut's 'Target'
%systemroot%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
