I have created a large .ppt with numerous links to charts inside a
nearby Excel spreadsheet. It works fine. (I'm using Office XP)
Now I want to rename the .xls file containing the charts. When doing so,
of course all the links break. If I try to "Change Source" to the
renamed .xls file in the "Edit Links" dialog, PP clumsily chooses the
first sheet in the spreadsheet, rather than finding the charts on their
respective sheets.
I read someone's anonymous post saying they were able to type in full
paths to create links. How can I manually edit PP links, so I can make
sure to point to the correct page and object in my spreadsheet?
