Hi

I've got a pc that doesn't want to disjoin from our domain.

It gives the Following error message:

The revision level is unknown.

Any idea how I can manually remove it from the domain?

thanks,

Paul.

Hi,

Was this machine an upgrade from NT 4.0? Is it an imaged box?

This problem can occur because of a computer security identifier (SID)
mismatch or a misconfiguration that can be
caused by third-party products that are used for imaging and changing
computer SIDS. The changes to the SID may be transferred to a Windows 2000
Professional installation during the upgrade process from a Windows NT
4.0-based computer that may have been imaged incorrectly. By design, the
security hive and the features are not changed during Windows NT or Windows
2000 upgrade paths.

Thanks,
