Manual transitions of ppt on TV

I am interested in putting a ppt on a dvd or mini-dvd to play on a
television. I will not be the only one presenting, so I am wondering if
there is a way to have manual slide transitions, because I am not sure how
fast people will talk. Not normal presenters, so getting them to practice is
most likely out of the question.

Thanks

This is one of the problems with converting PPT to DVD. You loose the
PPTness of it.

I suppose if you have a good knowledge of the content, you could make solid
use of the pause function on the DVD, but I do not believe this can be
triggered from the disk.

If you are familiar with DVD authoring this isn't too tough. Convert the
slides to images and import into your DVD program. Each image can be a
chapter. Just make the timings more than long enough to speak through. If
you need builds, each build will have to be another slide image. Otherwise,
converting to video and making friends with the pause button can also be an
effective solution.

Bill....I like that....."PPTness"
