Manual Outline

I created my slides manually and now I would like to manually type text in
the outline mode without that text appearing on the slide itself. Is this
possible?

The outline is actually a representation of text in the text placeholders on
the slide.

If you want to insert some text that should not be on the slide, put it in
the Notes area.

Sometimes, you might want to see a particular title in the Outline area, but
without the placeholder showing on the slide. In such a situation, drag the
text placeholder off the slide.

That would work, Geetesh. But now a related question.

When using presenter mode, I want the 'up-next>' bar to show a slide title
or text that I want to type in myself. I thought I could do this using the
outline, but it doesn't always seem to work...any suggestions?

The Presenter's View shows the Title Placeholder as the slide title. If you use
the placeholder and drag it off the screen as Geetesh has suggested, it will
still show in Presenter's View just above the slide. Try it and you'll see what
I mean.

That's excellent Sonia...now the one last thing I'd like to know is if it is
possible to customize presenter view at all. Specifically, the speakers
notes are in a pretty small font, and I'd like to be able to enlarge it....
