mandatory profiles with xp

Regarding a High School environment: Trying to implement mandatory profiles for students on XP workstations. 2003 Server, AD.
I create a good profile, copy it to the server/share, when I apply it to a student(s) everything works right except they cannot access I.E. (they need to access this). Anyone have any ideas?
