Mandatory profile - issue with outlook

Hello,

I'm using the JSI 5450 and it works great. The only thing I had to do
differently in my environment was not setting up the share in advance.

The mandatory profile works well with one minor issue. We have an exchange
5.5 server and when the user logs in, it wants to have all the exchange
components of outlook set up - server, username. So when they click on
outlook, it goes through the setup initialization scheme.

Is there any way to set this to auto populate so the user doesn't have to
fill it in each time?

If you are using outlook 2000, you can use the tool modprof in a login
script. If using outlook XP or 2003, each pc can be reinstalled (or possibly
modified) using a transform file with a .prf file. The .prf file contains
information about your exchange server and what services to use. Everytime a
user logs onto a pc with this type of installation, their profile will
automatically be generated.

I do not think manatory profiles work well with outlook. Bear in mind that
anything a user does within their outlook session (such as adding a
signature etc..) will not be saved when they log off.
