Hi,

I’ve looked alot here ( and other places ) and learned alot about
profiles. For my company iam using an w2k AD server fully up to date.
The clients are windows XP SP2.

My problem. I’ve created a mandatory profile by this
http://www.sd61.bc.ca/windows2000/Profiles.htm
guide. Users can all access the profile and load it but it hasnt got
the same look as with the user i made the profile with. For example:
the startmenu, background and style changed.

With my GP i want to use folder redirection for the favorites and my
documents. Is this the right way to do it or am i on a wrong track
here

Regards

I think i solved it:

I made a new user and made sure he was not in an OU. After that i made
a profile dump to my server and was able to logon with all accounts.

But my group policy doesnt seem to work anymore. Does anyone have a
non ms tutorial or post on this forum which could help me, i couldnt
find it

tia

btw i’ve got the id that my profile is overruling my policy but i
selected the no overide option in the GP is this possible?
