Isn't there a download somewhere that will install most of the different MMC
programs already defined?

Such as, Computer management, DNS, Internet Services manager, services,
exchange etc.

I had downloaded it before but can't remember where I got it.

Thanks,

Tom

What I am looking for is an install file that builds all the major consoles
for you. I used this on my Windows 2000 Pro machine, but I can't remember
what it was called or were I got it.

Thanks,

Tom

Don't want to state the obvious but are you talking about adminpak.msi? It's
available on the Server 2000 or Server 2003 CDROM or as a download.

That was it.

I wouldn't call it obvious. I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere.

Sorry, most admins use the tools in adminpak.msi daily so it to most people
working with servers it is obvious. I was trying to not insult you if you
knew this and were looking for something else. I did a quick search and you
are right. It isn't mentioned a lot so it wouldn't be obvious if you didn't
already know about it :-)

Glad you got it working.

I mainly got this for my boss and he mainly wanted for the Exchange tool,
but remembered that to get it working meant jumping through hoops if
exchange was already installed, so he decided not to use it.

Thanks,
