my dell inspirion is using corel as the defaul photo program for all my
digital pics, is there an easier way? Is there a windows program that i can
set to be the default photo manager? How do i do this?

Right click on one of your photo.
Click on Open with on the opening menu.
Click on Choose Program at the bottom of the opening list.
Click on Windows Picture and Fax viewer on the opening list and check the
box "Always...."
This is very good to view pictures, set up slide shows, etc. while Corel is
more for photo editing instead of photo viewing.

You can always change it to something else as you wish, following the above
procedure.

You can also download this free software:
www.picasa.com
After you install it, it will scan your hard drive and find all your images.
After this is done, when you open Picasa, it will automatically display all
your photo folders and all the thumbnails in all the folders.
