Making window content smaller so you can see the whole page

I'm not sure how to explain this, but here goes. I play pool at a game site.
On my old computer (Windows ME) I could see the pool table, then the chat
ability was below that. Now I have a Windows Media Center running Windows XP
and when I play pool now, the pool table is larger and the bottom of the page
is beyond the window bottom. I cant resize my window... it seems to only go
so large, so how can I shrink what's displayed to view the whole page. (I
hope this is understandable.) Please help someone. Thanks abunch in
advance!!!

You have to increase the resolution of your screen

go to contol panel> display properties>settings (tab)
and slide the screen resolution to 1024 by 768

press apply and see its its ok, it its not
then try a higher resolution

Ok, now the content has shrunk, but now there's a big blue space off to the
right of the content, and it seems to be pushed over to where some of the
content is unviewable on the left side. I've tried adjusting it, but can't
seem to find a middle ground. Any other thoughts?

it would be helpful if you could post a screencapture image so we can see
what is happening on your screen
