making Vcds from movie maker

I made a movie from movie maker and burned it to a cd-rw cd. when i putit in my LG dvd/vcd/cd player it wouldn't work. it read the cd as an MP3.i dont know what to do. how could i do it. please help me

What software did you use to write the CD? Don't forget that you MUST be
burning it in Video CD mode, you can't just drag and mpeg or wmv onto a
blank cd and expect it to work. Well, actually I guess you can with some of
the new players, but in this case I think not.
Let us know exactly the process you followed to get the video from the hard
drive to the cd.

Hi there,

I'm not sure what you mean by "LG player", but I do know
that I've overcome similar problems with both CD's and
DVD's by just using the "r" type media (vs the "rw" type
media)... especially true for DVD's to be played in a
regular TV-DVD player.

Assuming you did burn it in S/VCD mode, you have to
remeber to close the cd otherwise the DVDplayer will not
recognise it as a VCD.
