Hi to all. I have powerpoint 97. I have been messing around with it and
love the way I can make and create all types of slide shows. However, I am
at a lost at how to make just the one music file keep playing all thru the
entire slide show, and not stop at each slide and start over. I have tried
looping and the slide transition bit to keep the music file going. However,
I just want one file to keep playing until it ends, and not restart at each
slide. I put the music file in the first slide, then when It goes to the
second slide it restarts, all over again. I don't want that. I want the
song, music to keep playing along the slide show without stopping, until the
last slide is done. Can anyone help me out? hey thanks alot for any help
on this.... also just how much am I looking at a new power point for my
windows xp home addition? I just want power point, nothing else for now. I
do graphic works for fun as a hobby and learning on my own for all of this
stuff and also playing with the sound/music files to go with the graphics.
would appreciate any help. thanks.... Amber

After you have inserted the music file onto the slide,
click on it and then go to Slide Show and click Custom
Animation. Choose the Multimedia Settings Tab, Choose the
Continue Slide Show and then choose the After (enter how
many total slides are in the presentation). Then choose
More Options and click Loop until stopped.
