Hi,
We are trying to do a mass deployment of WindowsXP using Ghost. We
plan on booting the clients through the network (PXE) and automate the
process of deploying the XP image. The clients we have in our
environment do not have the network(PXE) as the first boot device, and
on starting the machine they would boot through the harddisk.
Is there anyway to enable the PXE boot and to make the Network the
forst boot device automatically? i.e without going to the BIOS
setup(pressing F2/F8 etc) manually and doing the changes. Is there a
tool/script to change the boot order and enable the PXE boot.
The machines currently have Windows NT, so it would be nice if we can
run such a tool on Windows.
Thanks,
Vishwas
