Ben

I've completed a PPT2003 presentation and successfully
uploaded it so that it can be viewed in a browser
I'd like to know what to do to make it available for
download from a page within my website. Preferably I'd
like to minimise the time it takes the viewer to download
(So maybe I could zip the file), but also what's the best
course to take so that the recipient has to do the
minimum amount of work to get it to start. I'm concerned
that the potential viewers may not be too computer
literate.
Thank You

Ben,

Zipping a powerpoint 2003 presentation will yield little benefit in terms of filesize. It's better to optimize the
template other ways

I just downloaded the Run-time software from this
website. It is a fairly small file. it can be zipped and
sent along with the PPT with simple installation
instructions. then the PPT can be viewed easily in a
browser. I haven't used this yet, but am thinking it's a
solution to the same problem I'm trying to solve.
