I have been reinstalling XP on a new drive (partitioned C: and d:) The old
arrangement was like this with the programs on C: and the data, including
..pst files in folders on d: I have reinstalled Office 2000 and the mail is
delivered into a Inbox in new .pst folder on C: I have made it open the .pst
folder on d: (using file open personal folders) and it shows the contacts,
(and I can see the old folders including the old Inbox) but it persists in
delivering mail to the new Inbox folder. How can I direct it to deliver to
the old Inbox.

I've investigated the article but this only deals with Outlook 2003
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA010771141033.aspx

Please can someone help

If you're using Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode, then select the
Personal Folders where you want the messages delivered and click
File>Properties. Check the "Delivery POP mail to this Personal Folders
File" box. Stop and restart Outlook.
