Making objects disappear when clicked

I would like to create a slide with 20-30 rectangles (names of categories of
the presentation). These rectangles would disappear when clicked on, such
that audience goes through the material in the sequence they wish.
How can I do this in PPoint 2003 or 2007?

I don't really get what you're saying but i suggest you use PPT 2003's
effects.- custom animations>exit
