Hi !

I want to make my own master build up from bottom, not using the templates.
Doing almost fine, but I can't put in new textboxes that are writeable when
clicking on "new slide"

Is it possible to edit or make a new master template with more textboxes
that says "click here to add title/subtitle/text" and so on?

No, you cannot add placeholders (textboxes that say "click here to
add...").

That was sad.... :-( but thanks anyway

Then I hope a Power Point developer read this. :-)

Well, Microsoft's John Langhans often posts the following to explain how
you can tell MS about it yourself:
If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that PowerPoint
should have <insert feature here>
don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft
at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).

No, sorry, it's not. Please go to the link above and tell MS that users
should have the ability to add placeholders to PPT slides and masters.

Hi Claus,

coming from one of our neighbour countries, are you able to read some
German? I described a workaround for the placeholder problem in a short
article for the last issue of our PPT-User-Newsletter. Subscribe the (free)
newsletter via the URL in the signature or contact me directly using the
reply address (if you don't understand German, I could make a translation
for you).

Kind regards,
Ute

Thanks for the link. I found it. It did not solve my problem though.

Because of the time being a critical factor I've decided to do it the hard
way now :-(
But thanks to everybody for their answers. Great support :-)

Oh and by the way Happy New Year
