Hi Friends,
I'm new at using Windows Movie Maker. What I would like to do is create
videos that could be burned to a DVD as seperate chapters. Each audio- video
chapter would contain the audio tracks from a entire CD, plus video
Visualizations that would be displayed while the music plays. Just like it
appears on Windows Media Player, when I play a CD with Visualizations. Your
feedback on both, how I could do this and find futher information tips on
this subject will be appreciated. Thanks.

I can't help with the WMP visualizations but to create a DVD you will need a
separate DVD authoring application as MM does not have it.

Creating chapters is an element of the authoring process
via burning software such as Nero, but DVD authoring is
not possible with WMM.

You can rip tracks from CD's via Win media player.
To ensure compatibilty with WMM, rip the tracks as
WMA files - NOT as MP3's.
Do not apply copy protection.

You can then add these WMA's to your Video clips
and compose your Audio/visual production.
WMM is fussy about what file types it will be happy
with, Your video clips should be in the two preferred
file types: WMV and/or AVI.

WMM will produce the desired video, but to burn
your production to DVD, you use authoring software.

See that Decoder. A 100% perfect answer.

As I stated in my reply - MM does not do DVD authoring. What I could not
answer, and is still left unanswered, is how Larry can put WMP visualizations
in a WMM movie. Are these xml file by chance?
