hi there..i recently put all my music files onto a external hdd (approx 2000
mp3 albums)..ive searched in my works 7.0 help files but cant find a answer
to my question..which is..i want to make a list of all my albums, but instead
of copying and pasting each individual artist/album title onto my list (will
take me forever), is there any way of copying the entire list at once..ive
tried...edit>select all>copy...but this also selects all the folder icons and
therefore cant paste onto a list..is there any way of doing this in works
7.0..dont mind if my list is a word doc,,database..spreadsheet..etc..as long
as its a list so i can print it out..

There is a vbs script at my web site. Just drag and drop any folder on it
and all
id information for its files will be placed in a tab delimited file. Just
open it in any
spreadsheet and sort and format. Edit the script (right click and select
edit) to change the path to the
output file (it will create it) before using it.

wooo hoo....i tried the first two suggestions but that printed everything
out..inc album track titles instead of justfolder names artist/album
title)..tried Karens Printer Directory...its bloody magic..works great..well
after i fiddled with it to get what i wanted..mucho mouse clicking has been
saved..not to mention my fingers...thanks sooo much..
