making internal links

I am new to front page and I am trying to link a word on my index page to
another page i.e. History on the index page to history.htm. It looks like
the link is formed by the change of color and underline on the word on the
index page but the link is not formed and does not work when I go into
preview. Any suggestions?

Thanks but since I posted I found a patch on Microsoft that fixes my problem.
