In a multi-user setting, I want a particular database to be read only for
everyone, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

One of the methods describes applying user-level security to achieve the
goal. This method is the most time-consuming and frustrating to implement,
especially for beginners, but is probably the most effective method. You

If you try this method, then make sure that you practice the steps on a copy
of your database so that you don't accidently lock yourself out.
