I am new to Windows Mail (my Outlook got a virus and I had to remove it from
my hard drive). Anyway, I am trying to attach pictures to an outgoing email
and they are inserting into the email way too large. Is there a solution to
this? I have tried using Microsoft Picture Gallery and creating an email
that way, but it won't let me. Help!!!!!! Outlook had a "wizard" for
pictures so it was really easy. Any help or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated!

Right-click on the picture (or pictures) and then choose:
Send To:
Mail Recipient
Then you should be offered to pick a size for the picture.
Make it small and click OK
You should then have an email with the picture(s) attached, ready to address
and complete.

it looks that your picture format is paintbrush, open your picture file and
try saving as to different format such as JBEG format.

You can get irfanview (www.irfanview.com -- free) and that will enable you
to resize the images. Make sure you save them in a jpg (jpeg) format so
they will be compressed and take up less space.

You can also reinstall Outlook after removing the virus.
