making all folders in outlook the same view and setting

In outlook you can have 20 folders with 20 diferent views, I cannot get them
to be all the same unless I go into each one; Set the columns I want "to",
"from", etc.
How do you set the default to what you want.

Similar problem in IE; you have to set the folder to do "details" instead
of files only


In properties I want "to show total number of emails in the folder"; the
default is showing the number of unread messages in the folder list. How do
I change the default to total number.l
