I'm really a beginner. Have completed the whole database,
17K and I need to communicate results of tables, queries,
etc. to someone who knows nothing about access. I've tried
exporting but the results seem unusuable. What book or
direction can I take to get informaton (other than hard
copy) to bosses who want to see all the data? Obviously, I
don't want them to be able to mess up data, just see it.
Thanks for any direction.

Hi Jim,

Reports are usually best for this purpose because you have most control
over the layout. If you're using Access 2000 or later, investigate
exporting to Snapshot format (which requires a special free viewing
program on the boss's machine). If your organisation routinely creates
PDF files, print your report to PDF instead.

It's also possible to export reports to RTF or XLS format, but you can't
use graphics because they're lost in the process.
