Making a still picture last longer

hI have a four minute presenation that uses abunch of picture and I woul
dlike to extend the duration on the picture from 5 sec to something longer -
how can I do that on all of them at once?

Are you using Windows Movie Maker?

You cannot extend the duration in a batch
other than adding the "Slow Down Half"
effect to the selected group of images.
(this will double the timeout.....that's a cool
little trick I just learned from PapaJohn)

Switch to "Storyboard view"...select one
image and go to...Edit / Select All...now
open the video effects and scroll down to...
"Slow Down Half"...right click the effect
and choose...Add To Timeline.

Otherwise...you'll have to re-create the
project and go to...Tools / Options / Advanced..
and set the duration "before" you drag the
pictures to the timeline.
