First off let me tell the MVP's and other lurkers here
that I appreciate their help. Many times I've come here
with a question or problem and just by reading the posts
I've got my answer, without even having to ask my question.
It's great to have such a sharp group of people close at hand.
Thank You!
Now for my problem that I didn't see in the posts: I'm running
Powerpoint 2002 on Win XP Home.
I've got a Powerpoint file on a CD and it runs great
if I browse to the CD and right click on the file and select
SHOW. I'd like to make it AUTOPLAY, meaning if
a person puts the CD in their computer it will automatically
play the slide show.
Any suggestions or web pages to guide me through the
process would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott Lamberson

First, do a SAVE AS, using the drop down menu choose PowerPoint Show. This
will give the presentation the .pps extension which opens in show-mode vs.
edit mode. Check here for lots of information on creating an autorun CD:

Here's hoping I am not too late to help...

Troy's answer should get you part of the way there. However, for the full
answer you need to build a CD with the viewer on it as well as your
presentation. There are two great tutorials out there for doing this. You
can find links to them on this PPT FAQ page:
