Making a section invisible

Hi. If there are no records in one of my report
sort/headers, I want that entire section to be invisible.
I have now tried 17 ways of doing that, but can only
manage to make the Header itself invisible. Any
suggestions will really be appreciated.

I really don't understand what you mean here. A
report/group header is a section (but records are in the
detail section, not a header), which you say you've already
made invisible. OTOH, if you want all the details in a
group header section to be invisible when there are no
details in the group, then since there are no details, there
is nothing to make invisible.

We'll need more information before we can try to help you
with whatever the problem is.
