Chris,
Yes. You can add the hyperlinks to text, images or objects right on the
slide, and then save as a web page. That will include animations or what
ever you want.
But. The problem will be the other web pages, and how you plan to link them
back to your home page in a way that is seamless. That is, your home page
will *look* like it was done in PowerPoint and other pages will *look* like
they were done in something else.
The other issue is your target audience. You can do vml and all sorts of
tricks available in the html from PowerPoint. But not all browsers will see
the result. You will need to look at the "Browsers" tab under Web Options
when you publish.
