Hi,

I'm a bit of networking idiot so please excuse me if this is a bit basic.

I have a small internal Windows XP network with a broadband connection to
the internet. This connection has a static IP address.
I now need to temporarily make one of my network machines (not the one with
the broadband connection) available on the web via an IP address, but it has
it's own internal IP address of say 192.168.0.232.

Is it possible to do this and if so how? If someone could point me to some
docs on the subject I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks,
Russ

Port forwarding. You don't say how you are accessing the Internet with the
computer (router, ICS, third party proxy...) so search google for "Port
Forwarding". Or go to you ICS or Router providers site, they should have
instructions.

Bob -

I just didn't know what to search for

I found a useful article on technet
Thanks,
Russ
