making a larger picture

I founded a very nice picture to enlarge for my children. And i am new at this . I would like to make a larger picture but can not figure out how too. Can some please lend me a little of their time. To help me solve this problem.

This is not really the right place to ask that question.
This group is for Microsofts 'MS-Access' database product. You may get more
help if you look for a news group with drawing/graphics etc. and beginners
or somthing in the name, or maybe somewhere like
'Microsoft.WindowsXP.General'

But anyway, here is a 'Starter for 10':
Most graphics packages, (hopefully you got one with your PC or Scanner if
you bought it as a 'Home PC' package) let you re-size a picture. Look for
Re-Scale or Re-Size or Re-Sample options in the Edit menu?
If you don't have a graphics package, then it will be difficult to resize
your picture.

One last point: If the picture is small, there may not be enough information
in the original file to make it much bigger without losing a lot of quality.
