I imported my video from my cannon camcorder. Used Movie maker. Saved to a
DVD-R disk.
But I don't think it is a DVD to play in my machine. HAve I missed a step?
Can someone please help me! I want to be able to see the movie on a DVD not
just my computer. (its my daughter's first year!)

Yes, you'll need to save the file in Windows Movie Maker as a DV-AVI file
and then use your third party DVD burning software to make a Video DVD....
Nero, Roxio, WinDVD Creator or PowerProducer/PowerDirector will do the job
nicely.

Yes as Carl said but many people seem to miss one of the best IMO and
easiest to use DVD programs which is Uleads Movie Factory 4.
I have a list of some of the ones Carl mentioned and some he didn't on my
website in the "DVD Creation" section.

Now why do I keep doing that?!?!? LOL
I know it's Cari and I know your female. This is at least the 2nd time I
remember making that mistake here and I do believe I did the same thing once
or twice when I still frequented the XP Newsgroups.
sowwwwwwyyyy :-)
