I'm trying to insert an image that was created in Photoshop without a background into my powerpoint presentation and when i do, it has a white background. How do i make this go away so i just have my logo and not my logo in a white box?

From Photoshop you need to save the image as a .png with transparency. All
other formats will default to a white background where there is
transparency. Here is a tutorial on creating .png images in PhotoShop for
use in PPT (download "the power of ping").

Same the logo using a format that supports alpha channel transparency, if
you have set the background to transparent in Photoshop.

If you have not, then use the transparency tool on the picture toolbar
(looks like an exacta knife pointing into a corner) to select the background
color (white) and it will change everything in the picture, with that color
to transparent.
