2.3Sleeper

Okay, thanks to TAJ Simmons for helping me with my first problem. That was
getting sound to play across the entire slideshow in the internet. I pretty
much got that problem solved.

I think...

I followed the instructions exactly, but now I have another issue.

It defaults to the frame.htm version and the sound begins to play. I need it
to go to the fullscreen.htm version...but if I select that version through
the link, then the sound doesn't work.

Here are the links.

http://www.mwcmustangs.com/prom/slideshow/Slideshow_files/

Selecting the main link gives me a invalid page.
http://www.mwcmustangs.com/prom/slideshow/Slideshow_files/Slideshow.htm

If you go to the first link I gave, then it works by selecting *frame.htm*
However, it comes up kinda screwed up.

Going to the fullscreen.htm opens it but I have no sound.

Thanks in advance,

Don Manning

Now I have screwed it up even worse. Clicking on the fullscreen version
brings up media player with the wav.

The frame version, no matter how I try to set the parameters for it, still
opens up screwy looking and even though the music plays, the slides do not
advance.

Help me please....lol, I only have 4 handfuls of hair left.

Don Manning

Okay, I fixed the size problem with the frames.htm link. It now comes across
as basically fullsize...but now I don't have sound.

Don Manning

None of the links work anymore...I got rid of everything and started over.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint does not have the specific capability that you are looking for
although, as others may have indicated, the HTML file can be modified,
after the fact, to get the desired result.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
provide this functionality (without have to resort repeatedly to manual
workarounds), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).

I have already reviewed this. It is for PowerPoint XP 2002. Thank you for
your help though.

There is this link http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00148.htm in that
presentation on how to do it in earlier versions.
