I've been trying to import my digital pictures into Movie Maker and give a
more dynamic look to them with zooming and panning with no success. I'm
hoping that someone has done this and can give me some direction.

I do not have a way to zoom and pan, that is exactly what i am looking for.
How hard is it to use? If i want to do a large number of pictures with
different zoom and pans is it time consuming to set up?
Thanks

How are you doing the zooms and pans ?

I have a pan zoom plugin that allows you to do imac/Photo Story style pans
and zooms: http://www.rehanfx.org/panzoom.htm. Furthermore it allows yout
customize your movements using the xml interface.

You have to try it to find out. If you want different pan zoom effects on
each picture then it takes as very little time as all you need to do is
decide which one to apply and drag/drop it over the picture. That's it.

I guess for a large collection of pictures it might take a while. However if
you want to apply the same effect to many pictures, you can select them in
Storyboard using Ctrl-Click (one at a time) or Shift-Click (to select a
range), and then right click on the effect to select "Add to storyboard".

And note that there is another such plug-in from Pixelan. You may like to
try that as well for a comparison but they don't offer free usage or
customization opportunity.
