make list: two columns with ellipse-type line of dots between?

I need to make a chronology with dates on the left and events on the right,
events in straight vertical line and ellipsis-type dots in between. Will Word
do this? Thanks. Laurie

Yes, you need a right-aligned tab stop with a period leader. See
